Dear Teacher colleague,

Selladoor Productions, Matthew Townshend Productions, Belgrade Theatre Coventry and Perth Theatre at Horsecross Arts are bringing a thrilling new adaptation by Rona Munro of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to the UK from the Autumn of 2019.

From the Summer of 2019, this education portal will be populated with a wide range of assets to aid your students’ education. On confirmation of booking to see the show you will be granted access to our online learning platform which is to include a rich treasury of resources including a 5000 word Book by noted children’s author Stewart Ross in which he reflects on Mary Shelley and her context as well as introducing the production.

In addition to this, we’re thrilled to be offering performance participation opportunities across the tour - take part in one of our insight / ‘Page to Stage’ discussions at the theatre, undertake a backstage tour focusing on the technical and design side of the production (subject to availability) or invite us to visit your school or college to conduct a lesson or “hands on” drama session led by a theatre professional.

Whether you’re teaching English literature or Drama/Theatre, or perhaps introducing younger students to the genre, alongside the production and working with an acclaimed education provider we are offering students at the following levels a range of opportunities that can support programmes of study and enhance your students’ learning across a range of objectives and criteria.
